I am so saddened to learn of Ernie's [passing. It seems all too soon. Sharon you will miss him so much. I know he would be a kind loving man, I have such happy memories of Ernie when I taught him in school. He was the ideal pupil. He was polite and kind and caring. He was one of a kind. May you know the Lord's peace and presence as you move through the days ahead.

A few years ago we were on a wait list at Anna Mae's restaurant. When they called "Gilliland" we were surprised that Ernie and family responded as well as us. It was a chance and pleasurable meeting. Sad that we didn't have more contacts.

From the time I spent around Ernie he exibited values of a nice man who treasured Family closeness above all else in his life.He was honest and fair and was a great man to share a friendly chat with. My condolences to the Family.
