Obituary of Elton Saunders Thorne

Peacefully at Watford Quality Care Centre on Thursday, February 19th, 2015. Elton Saunders Thorne of Watford in his 87th year. Elton is survived by his beloved wife Jean and by his children Everett (Mary) Thorne of Watford, Dale (Mary) Thorne of Watford, Ellen Wilson of Watford and Gale (Jeff) Edwards of Oil City. Elton will be sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson Michael Edwards (1986); son-in-law Dale Wilson (1993); great-granddaughter Halle (2009). Elton was a proud life long farmer on Sutorville Road. Visitation for Elton will be held on Sunday, March 8th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Denning’s of Watford. Funeral Service will take place at Trinity Anglican Church (5311 Nauvoo Rd.) in Watford on Monday, March 9th at 11am. Interment to follow at Saunders Family Cemetery.
