Obituary of Audrey Pearl Beattie

Peacefully at Watford Quality Care Centre on Monday, October 10, 2022; Audrey Pearl Beattie passed away at the age of 97. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Patten (2016), son Paul (1966) and daughter Brenda (2019). Left to mourn are her son Stephen (Brenda), grandsons Jason (Laura) and Bryan (Korri) and great grandchildren Brooke, Nate, Samantha, and Sarah. Audrey was the only child of Paul and Pearl Sullivan.

Audrey was an accomplished public speaker, leading many church services and speaking at various events as well as judging numerous student competitions. She was deeply interested in children’s education, serving on the Lambton County School Board and volunteering for the reading program at the local elementary school, as well as driving school buses when needed.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Watford Quality Care for their care, attention and love they have shown over the past years.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Watford Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Watford Quality Care Residents Fund or Watford United Church.
