Uncle Ed was a great guy to visit when i had time to fit a trip to southern Ontario during a business trip. Alas, living so far away from Uncle Ed and Aunt Betty, it was difficult to see them more often. They always had a welcoming home.
Ah, Uncle Ed. I remember him as the soul of kindness, a man truly interested in people. He had a way of seeing the best in one, for which I am grateful. A caring partner to a loving aunt, who in my early childhood was like a mother to me.
We are so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. We have some wonderful memories of time spent at the Petrolia Bowling Alley and all the trips with the crew to Las Vegas.
Heather, I will be thinking of you in this difficult time. I didn't know your father but I know he raised a fine daughter. My condolences to you and your family.

I am so sorry to read of Ed's passing...I think of he and Betty every time I go past their home on 21 highway. I don't remember when I didn't know your parents...May the Good Lord give you Comfort and Peace in your sorrow.
