Obituary of Ken Acton

It is with much sadness that the family of Kenneth Laverne Acton, of Watford announce his passing on Sunday, November 27th, 2016 at Strathroy Hospital at the age of 85. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Mary Lou (Howlett). Dear father of Susan Acton (Roger Gollop) and Mike Acton (Anita) and grandfather of Jordan and Josh Acton-Gollop and Erika, Rachel and Megan Acton. Dear brother of Douglas Acton (Greta), Donna Gray (Bill) and Lorne Acton and brother in law of Bruce Howlett and David Howlett (Dagmar). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters in law Arlette Acton, Diane Howlett and Donna Wright, brother in law Allan Howlett and parents Clayton and Velma Acton. Ken was a successful and reputable businessman in the Watford area for many years, founding Acton Service Centre. Ken was respected by the many people he employed over the years. A private family service will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated.
