Obituary of James Patten Beattie

Peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Watford Quality Care James “Pat” Patten Beattie passed away at the age of 95. Loving husband of Audrey (nee Sullivan) for 71 years. Beloved father of the late Paul Patten (1966), Stephen Grant (Brenda) and Brenda Pearl (Patrick) Hearn. Survived by his grandchildren Jason (Laura) and Bryan (Korrie) and Great grandchildren Brooke, Nate, Samantha and Sarah. Sadly missed by his sister Nancy (Art) Long and their sons Rob (Janet) and Jeff. Pat was active in many community events and a multiple Paul Harris Fellow for outstanding Service to Rotary and the Youth Exchange Program. Friends will be received at Watford United Church 555 Ontario Street, Watford on Sunday, April 17th from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm with Reverend Carey Wagner officiating.
