A Prayer for the Deceased Mary Bohdan
God of mercy, look kindly on Your servant the Late Mary Bohdan, Loving mother of Ann (Bill) Antolak who has set down the burden of Her years. As she served You throughout her long life, may You give her the fullness of Your peace and joy. We give thanks for the long life (95 years) of Mary Bohdan, now caught up in Your eternal love on February 12 last. We make our prayer in the Name of Jesus, Who is our Risen Lord now and forever. Lord our God, the death of Mary Bohdan recalls our human condition and the brevity of our lives on earth. But for those who believe in Your love, death is not the end, nor does it destroy the bonds that You forge in our lives. We share the faith of Your Son's disciples and the hope of the children of God. Bring the light of Christ's resurrection to this time of testing and pain as we pray for Mary Bohdan and for those who love her, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
