Dear Ron and family,
I was so deeply saddened to hear of Doreen's passing!!! She was one of the sweetest women I have ever met, with a smile that could light up a room!!! She was a joy to care for and her love for all of you was so strong, as seen with all the stories she would share with pride! She will be missed so very much ! Great pictures. I have some wonderful memories of Doreen and the Widdup family. Many years ago our family Herb, Wanda, Herb Jr, Kristine, Susan and myself Lori, used to go to the Pinery Provincial Park and one of our stops was always to the Widdup's house always had a great time. Dear Ron: I am saddened greatly by Anne Pennock's note telling us all of Doreen's death and I hasten to send you my most sincere condolences. Believe me I know well what you are going through now and will continue to go through for some time. Life without your spouse and best friend is something along the lines of a team of two horses suddenly transformed into a team of one. My experience has taught me, however, that the only way to cope with it is to keep busy and get on with life. Happily your family will help you do that.
Ron, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. Doreen was a great partner to you and a good friend to us all. She will be sorely missed.
