Obituary of Adrian Peter Sanders

SANDERS: Adrian Peter After a courageous battle with cancer, and with great sadness, we announce the passing of Adrian Peter Sanders at his home on August 12, 2015 in his 77th year. Beloved husband for 50 years of Rita (nee De Groot). Forever loved and remembered by his children, Dave (Jennie) Sanders, Rita (Ed) McGregor, Wayne (Jacinda) Sanders, and Christa (Jeff) Sawyer. Opa will also be missed by Emily, Allison, and Sarah Sanders, Kate, Neel, and Cole McGregor, Jared and Adrienne Sanders, and Ellen, Ashley, and Marnie Sawyer. Brother of Fr. Piet S.C.J., Frank (Jeannie), Bert (Harriet), Gerald (Annie), Nelly (Julius) Deroo, Peter (Gera), Betsy (John) Strik, Fran (Harry) Willemse, Leo (Regina), and John (JoAnne). Brother in law to Grada (Herman) Van Bakel, Tony (Christine) De Groot, John (Josie) De Groot, Wilma (Ben) Aarts, Paul (Helen) De Groot, Co (Mathea) De Groot, Annie (Joe) Aarts, and Jack (Francine) De Groot. Adrian will be missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends, especially his best friends Flavie Beaudet and Gary Van Dinther. Predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Johanna Sanders and his brother August Sanders (1974). Visitation will be held at Denning’s of Watford on Friday, August 14th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15th at 11 am at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Watford with Father Piet Sanders S.C.J. officiating.
