It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Douglas Higgins at Watford Quality Care, at the age of 84, on May 10^th, 2023. Beloved husband of Sandy Higgins of 49 special years. Father of Gary (Lisa) Higgins, Ron Higgins, Raymond (Connie) Higgins, and Nathan Higgins (Wendy Stevens). Grandpa of Rachel, Kyla, Johnny, Brant, Brad, Kailey, Nathan, Amanda, and  Shawn. Survived by his sister Arlene Ostrosser.  Predeceased by his brother Wayne Higgins (2021).

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 15^th, 2023 from 12:00p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF WATFORD. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery, Watford. The family wishes to invite everyone back to the funeral home for a time of fellowship and refreshement. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.
