Obituary of Ron Widdup

Peacefully at home on October 20^th, 2022, Ron Widdup passed away at the age of 89. Loving husband and best friend of the late Doreen. Proud father of Rick (Lisa), Ron, Rob, Randy (Patty), and Sue (Joe) Van Dinther. Cherished Papa of Tessa, Vanessa, and Jessie; Krista and Chelsea. Treasured great-Papa to Alexis, Joey, Mercedes, and Willow; and Ella. Survived by brothers Bob and Doug. Ron will be greatly missed by his dear Tigger.

Ron was a beloved local vet for 60 incredible years in the Watford area. Animals and family were his two greatest passions. He valued being involved in the lives of everyone he knew. Ron truly loved what he did. His work did not feel like work to him because of his love of animals and the incredible people he got to meet along the way. Ron was a staple in the Watford community.

Visitation will take place at DENNING'S OF WATFORD on Friday October 28th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday October 29th at 1:00pm. A private family interment will follow.
