Obituary of John Dennis Smith

After a courageous struggle, John Dennis Smith passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at London Health Sciences Centre at the age of 68 surrounded by his family.

John will be forever remembered by his step-daughter, Andrea Brooks from Saskatchewan (Sean) & children, Olivia, Emily, & Ronan, step-son, Brad White & children, Karson, Abby, & Myles, his brother, Terry (Louise), & his nieces, Andrea Brooks from Forest, ON, & Marcia Runge (Rob) from Alberta.  Also survived by sister-in-law Karen Smith (Felix).  Predeceased by his parents, Dave & Ilene Smith, & brother, Brian (Butch) Smith.
 

John was a lifetime Legion Member & Classic Mustang Car enthusiast.  Most of his career was spent with the Ontario Department of Highways. John also loved his pet bird, Coco.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at DENNING'S OF WATFORD. A Legion Memorial Service will take place at 6:00pm, Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 11:00am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Watford Cemetery.

In the interest of keeping everyone safe, masks will be mandatory.
