Our deepest condolences to the entire Pehlke and Redmond families at this time. Leola was a wonderful friend to my Mom, a great neighbour and friend to us, rhubarb supplier, Avon lady and UCW member. I always loved making salmon sandwiches with her when a lunch at the church was required. It has been one of my greatest blessings to have a small part in her care at the Lodge and my visits with her there over the last year I hope helped in some way. She certainly helped me feel connected to my own Mom. Warm hugs to you all.

Leola was a n amazing person. She was a wonderful friend, sister-in-law, and traveling companion to my mom. I will forever be great full to her for caring and staying with my mom on their trip to Alaska. It could not have been easy. To Leola's family,
I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. Her beautiful smile will always be remembered by anyone who knew her. I met her first at the library where we worked together hosting some art events in the library basement years ago and whenever we met on the street, she always had a big smile. I last saw her last fall at our hairdresser's and although she couldn't verbalize, I'm sure that she knew who I was. Again that big smile. That is how I will remember her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. RIP Leola.
