Obituary of John David Lane

After a brave fight with leukemia, Jack of Strathroy, formerly of Watford in his 84^th year passed away on January 8^th, 2021 at home. Beloved husband of Mildred Lane nee Vince. Loving father of Dan Lane, Maxine Lane and Donna (Abe) Bueckert. Survived by his brothers Russell (the late Mary) Lane and Lloyd (Louise) Lane. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Cecil (Nyhl) Lane, George (Emily), Doris Lane, Opal Lane and Audrey (Eric) Foster. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Andy and Elizabeth Lane.

A private visitation will take place on January 11, 2021 with a funeral service the following day at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Interment will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
