Obituary of George Auke Brouwer

Brouwer, George Auke Suddenly at his home, George Brouwer passed away on June 20th, 2020 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Shirley Brouwer of 58 special years. Beloved father of Helen Brouwer (Murray Ransbury) and Steve (Sherri) Brouwer. Proud papa of Branden, Gerrit and Skylar Brouwer and Lauren Ransbury. Cherished great-grandpa of Arizel, Adrianna and Zander. Survived by his siblings Catherine (late Keith) Scott, Audrey (late Jerry) Bracken and Max (Shirley) Brouwer. George touched everyone’s life he met. He was very involved in snowmobiling, a Warwick Village coffee club member and he was an avid horse shoe player. As per George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
