To the McVicar Family, This is the son of George Smith who had the farm across the creek and your dad farmed it for my father. Dad always spoke of your dad and how much a nice guy he was and dad counted on him for the fields. Mary and Dave Christie were our aunt and uncle dads sister. Once again our prayers are with you at this time of loss.

My sincere condolences to the McVicar family. Our extended family always had close connections with Don, Marj, Rob, Barb and Ian as we passed by their place to and from Watford. We would always feel comfortable (and welcome) dropping in on many occasions. I always remember Rob's hard working ethic - I know it would have been an inspiration to anyone he ran into. I had the pleasure to have a nice conversation with him about 3.5 years ago and we shared some interesting points on cattle as I had recently been in the business.
Sincere sympathy,
Trevor Aitkens and the extended Parker family.

To the McVicar family, so sorry for your loss. My memories of Rob are from 40 plus years ago, when Mom and Dad would take us to Uncle Don and Aunt Marj’s farm, usually there would be a meal or snack and then Rob, Barb or Ian would always take us to the barn to see new kittens, ducks or puppies. Their was always something exciting happening on your farm. I remember when you would come to our farm In return, we would play board games and cards, I don’t recall going to the barn to check out the livestock. Rob always had a big smile and would Share stories with us. (I think this is a creative McVicar trait)
Our sympathies to the all of you at this time.
Jim and Diane (Spalding) Macfarlane.
