Obituary of Gordon Arthur Richardson

It is with great sadness the family of Gordon Arthur Richardson announce his passing at Brookside Retirement Living, Watford in his 84th year on Tuesday April 7th 2020 with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Jean (Vandeschoot) for 62 years. Loving father of Rick (Paula) Richardson and Ron (Gwendy) Richardson. Proud grandfather of Jim Richardson (Jen), Karen Richardson (Scott), Todd Richardson (Lisa) and Kailyn King (Trevor). Cherished great grandfather of Haleigh, Dylan, Blake, Emmaleigh, Allyson, Brynn and Hannah. Predeceased by his parents William and Reta Richardson and siblings Franklin (Jean) Richardson, Dalton (June) Richardson and Doris (Ray) Morris. Will be missed by Jane (Bill) Harmeyer, the late John (Anny) Vandeschoot, Joanne (Late John) Vandenbroek, Corry (late Ed) VanHooft, the late Mary and Frank Vanderburgt, Marg (late Murray) Bryce, Josie (William) MacKenzie, Fran (late Doug) Aitken and Casey (Jenny) Vandeschoot. Gord was a long time employee at the Watford Canada Post and an avid photographer, owner of Richardson Studio. Private services will be held at this time. Interment to take place at the Bethel Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
