Obituary of Jane Peters

Peters, Jane Maria (nee Huyben) Jane died peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Friday, March 6th, 2020 at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Peters (2006). Cherished mother of Ken and Barb Peters, John and Mary Ellen Peters, Irene Parkes, Rieta and Tim Coleman, Deborah and Ron Downie, and Linda and Guy Breault. Jane was the wonderful Oma of Laurie Peters, Jeff (Krista) Peters, Julie Peters (Drew Schappert), Kevin (Lisa) Peters, Jeff (Meagan) Millar, Kayla (Brian) Thorne, Sonny Parkes, Chantel Parkes (Ryan Crockford), Dustin Parkes, Greg (Renay) Coleman, Tyler (Christina) Coleman, Cody (Ashley) Coleman, Dylan (Erin) Downie, Denny Downie (Chelsea Kellock), Melina Breault (Andrew Shaw) and Jamie Breault. She was also the proud great-Oma of 25 great-grandchildren. Jane is also survived by her sister Irma Schmit of Luxembourg, sister-in-law Trees Voeten of Belgium and brother-in-law Frans Peters of Holland. She was predeceased by her grandson Brent Peters, her son-in-law Mike Parkes, and her daughter-in-law Linda Peters, as well her siblings Johanna Jacobs of Belgium, Petra (Peter) Van Gorp of Watford, sister Maria Johanna Huyben of Holland, Piet and Andre Huyben of Holland and Chis and Kees Huyben of Luxembourg. Friends and Family will be received at Denning’s of Watford from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday March 8th, 2020. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 9th at 11am at Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Cemetery.
