Denise,Deb, Janice and David, I'm so sorry for the passing of your Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time. Your Dad had the most infectious smile, he could really light up a room! I have wonderful memories of Acton and then moving in right across from your Mom and Dad in Coldwater. Wish I could be there with you on Saturday, but know that we'll be with you in spirit.

My uncle Bob was a wonderful and kind person. He was always ready to help others and I remember him always laughing. I loved hearing about his trips to Cuba where he befriended some families and became a close friend to many of them. He just didn’t go on a vacation to take time for himself he got to know people and listened to their stories and struggles and made a point of trying to reach their needs. I was so encouraged and blessed to hear him talk with his face lit up and the excitement in his voice about the loaded suitcases filled with items (clothing, toothbrushes, shoes etc) for the families he would visit in Cuba. He inspired me to think of others when I’m on vacation. I remember the awesome times we had at Terra Cotta park. He loves to spend time with family and friends having a picnic eating, laughing and playing games! I remember eating watermelon and Uncle Bob cutting it up for us kids and then taking us swimming with our parents. He inspired me to spend time with my family and that food and games and laugher is very important in our lives. I remember him telling me when Auntie Val passed away that He was still here for me and not to loose touch. I felt so loved by my Uncle and Auntie and loved dropping in to their house of laughter. There was always games and food. The most impression he had on me is how he showed his love for his wife my Auntie Val. I loved watching him serve her by getting her a cup of tea and making sure she was comfortable. He loved her so. I felt so privileged to witness his outpouring of himself on others. He inspired me to do the same and love others! To my cousins( Denise, Deb, Janice and David) I am so sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers ! Love Rhonda Finnegan Wood
