Obituary of Maxine Dodge
With her family by her side, and after a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maxine Dodge in her 78th year. Maxine will be deeply missed by her husband of 54 years, Bill, her cherished children Kevin and Kim Dodge of Lantz, Nova Scotia, Colleen and Wayne Johnston of Watford. She was a loving Grandma to Samantha Dodge of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ryan Dodge and his friend Brittany Vernon of Toronto, Kyle Johnston and his friend Elspeth Adams of Waterloo, Craig, Kelsey, and Cailey Johnston all of Watford. Maxine is survived by her sister Eloise and husband Joe McLean of Strathroy. She was a loving sister in law and aunt. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews including Rick McLean, his wife Louise and family, Bill McLean, his wife Anne Marie and family, along with many friends and neighbours. Maxine was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, a loyal and dedicated fan of the ladies two pitch team the "Runabouts" and a life long resident of Watford. Visitation will be held at the Harper Funeral Home in Watford on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007 from 7-9pm. Memorial Service will take place at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Watford on Thursday March 15th at 2pm. Private interment at Watford Cemetery. Rev.
