Obituary of William Adams

William "Bill" Leslie Adams Bill Adams of RR 8 Watford, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 at the age of 85. Bill is survived by his three children Marianne (Richard, 2007) Janes of Millgrove, Michael (Karey) Adams of Warwick Township and Monica (Joe) Dietrich of Formosa. He will be missed by 10 grandchildren; Chris (Kristin) Janes, Theresa Nemcek Adams (Chad), Tim Adams, Trevor (Ashley) Adams, Troy Adams (Amy), Tom Adams (Kirby), Tyler Adams (Kyla), Meagan (Mathieu) Jardelot, Lindsay (Mike) Cook, Ben Dietrich (Jessie) and 6.5 great grandchildren; Alex, Addison, Lilly, Elise, Sierra, and Dezmond. Special friend Patricia Wilson of Warwick Township and her children Michael of Thedford, Cheryl (Alan) of Watford, Frostel (Jeff) of Plympton Township as well as her 6 grandchildren. Also surviving are sister Margaret McLean (Bill Dodge) of Watford, sister-in-law Sandi Adams of Florida. Bill is predeceased by Florence Adams (nee Smith)(2012) and by brother Bob (1996), brother-in-law Ken McLean (1998), son-in-law Richard Janes (2007), parents Franklin Adams (1990) and Jeanette Adams (nee McEwen)(1991). A lifelong resident of Warwick Township, Bill retired from DOW Chemical in 1983 after more than 34 years with 30 years at the Latex Plant. At various times during his life he was involved in local Fastball, Hockey, Watford Road Race, International Silverstick and Ontario District Barber Shoppers. Visitation will be held at the WATFORD CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Saturday, October 5th, from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral Service in the chapel on Sunday, October 6th at 2pm.
