To Sharon's Loved One's,
We just heard of Sharon's passing and were in complete shock. It is such a shame when you hear of such a delightful person leaving us way to soon. Although we did not know the family as we knew Sharon through the Royal Bank in Petrolia. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious giggle when we dealt with her in the bank.
Such a tremendous loss but her suffering is over, and by the lovely DVD of pictures you all have wonderful memories to cherish.

I am sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. Her loving smile and warm heart has been a part of my live for as long as I can remember. A wonderful babysitter,a friend and neighbor who was there as I was growing up. Then let me be a part of her life by allowing me the joy of babysitting the wonderful children she has. Then remained a part of my life by indirectly keeping an eye on my kids. Sharon could light up any place she went. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. When I think of Sharon two things come to my mind immediately...beautiful flowers because she always made sure our church looked incredible for every season and the second is that EVERY single time I saw her in my whole life I thought, she looks amazing. She was very quiet but I could always feel her kindness.

Dan was in the room with Sharon on C7 for a few days.
Dan is back in hospital as he has now broken his hip--he are not operating as he has cancer in the hip as well as the brain and lungs.(Kidney removed 2 years ago).
I( Lynda) went and saw Sharon when she was in Palliative care.
Loved talking to her and enjoyed knowing her even though it was for only a short time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sharon was such a special person and when I got a chance to come back to the area, I always made sure to stop in to see her. I learned so much from her and was happy to teach her how to order online from Chapters many years ago. If I remember right, it was a National Lampoon's Christmas DVD for Laura. It may have been 10 years ago, but Sharon remained in my heart. Every now and then I would get a pop up from her saying good night as she shut down her computer, it would make me smile. And that is how I will remember her as a generous, smiling and loving person, and smile.

I was childhood friends with Craig and Kirk growing up. Some of my fondest memories were spending time with the McDonald family. Mrs. McDonald was a caring and loving person whenever I was around her. She did a lot of the little things I probably took for granted at the time, but somehow all these years later I still remember and now appreciate. She used to always make snacks for us whenever I was hanging out at her home. She used to always offer shelter for me in her van whenever the weather was bad as we were waiting for the school bus. Most importantly she gave me a smile and “a how are you, Brian?” whenever I ran into her around Watford. Mrs. McDonald was a wonderful woman, who will be missed by many. My deepest condenses to the McDonald family during this difficult time.

Sharon was a delight to be around and a thoughtful, caring person. I will remember all the great and funny times we had in Petrolia like our Christmas dinner at her home, raising funds for my cancer walk, having lunch and watching soaps in the lunch room and the christening she attend (with Alex) for my eldest daughter. She was even so kind to send me a beautiful Christmas ornament when I moved to Toronto. I remember how proud she was of her children and how much she looked forward to the day of being a grandmother.
