Years ago when tobacco was an accepted way of life to earn a living, I worked in the harvests for Jean & Reno. Jean, at the time, had 3 young children, but never failed to provide a cold drink at break. I loved her sense of humour and her way of making the tobacco crew feel important. (Reno was no slouch in that area either).
Thoughts, prayers, and condolences to Reno and the family. Jean will be missed but her memory is a comfort. Rest in peace, Jean.

I first met Jean and Reno as friends of my mother and father-in-law.They spent a lot of time visiting each other, and whenever I stopped in,Jean would always make me feel so welcome and appreciated. She had a knack for doing that for people,no matter how serious things were in her life.
I had the privilege of visiting her weekly in Parkwood Hospital the last month, and she continued on as the gracious hostess...never complaining, and asking how things were with my family. In her own way,she showed God's love to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.

It a very sad day for all of us. Very sad to see my mother loose her mom. But I just find myself having flashbacks to how much my grandma loved us, of course that goes with out saying. But it's the way she showed it. Weather it was in the middle of a store or at a ball game , she would alway give kisses and hugs. Just something that sticks with me. Just how every time she seen us was alway so happy. Once we all started having baby's that was even more of her pride an joy. My kids will know there grandma forever. I will show the love and care for them the way she showed us. Also back when me and my brother were younger. We will never forget the lunches at grandma and grandpas. Alway the best bread lunch meat. Was great. Alway got trouble for talking while the news was on. I love you Grandma. Don't worry we will take care of Rocket
