Obituary of Bob Cowan

Cowan, Andrew Robert Born in Chatham on March 29,1919, Bob was a caring husband to Irene; a dear father to Roseanne Walker (Harley), Donna Laceby (Jim), Frank Cowan (Pam), Lorraine Peckham (Allan),Chris Cowan (Pam); A loving and proud Papa to 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Bob left this world on Tuesday, Sept 4th, 2012 at the age of 93 supported by the love of his family. Enjoyed for his sense of humour and admired for his strong will to live, Bob was an inspiration to many and will be missed. Friends may call at the WEST LORNE CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 from 5-8 pm. Parish prayers at 5 pm. West Elgin Legion Branch 221 will hold a memorial service at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Marys Church, West Lorne on Thursday at 1 pm. Father Tom Kuriacko celebrant.
