Obituary of Margaret MacKinlay
Margaret Emily MacKinlay (nee Minielly) passed away peacefully at North Lambton Lodge, Forest, in her 95th year, on Tuesday, July 31st, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Finlay MacKinlay (1977). Margaret was a life member of the Aberarder Women's Institute and a faithful member of St. James Presbyterian Church in Forest. Margaret lived on the family farm at Aberarder for 70 years until she moved to the North Lambton Lodge in 2009. Daughter of the late Donald Leslie and Lottie Mae Minielly. Loved Mother of Bill (Carol) MacKinlay, Ian (Julie) MacKinlay, and Janice (Jack) Rennie. Candy Grandma to Scott MacKinlay (Denyne), Dana Chalmers, Lisanne Hendrickx (Don), Kassandra Marriott, and Kendra Marriott. Great grandmother of Cole and Megan Chalmers, Davis, Kara, and Aimee MacKinlay, and Brett and Jace Hendrickx. Dear sister of Glenn (Donna) Minielly, Kenneth (Frances) Minielly, and sister-in-law of Irene Minielly. Predeceased by brothers Donald, Arnold, and sister-in-law Norma. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Thursday, August 2nd, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 3rd, 2012 at 2pm with Rev. Joanne MacOdrum officiating. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
