LAPADAT With sadness, the family of Victor Lapadat of West Lorne announce his passing on Monday, April 11, 2005 at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 81st year. He was beloved husband of Grace (Kovacs). Dear father to three sons Victor Jr. (Sandy) and their family, Steve and Sam. Loving grandfather to Melanie Docherty (John), Sarah McCurdy (Joel), Sam Lapadat (Margaret); and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Steve; survived by sister-in-law Eva. Victor was a well-known tobacco farmer in the area and inventor of the Eagle-Tie tobacco tying machine. Memorial service will be conducted at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 237 Monroe Street, Rodney on Saturday, April 16th at 11:00 am., Rev. R. Sinasac officiating. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to meet with the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thameswood Lodge or charity of choice would be appreciated.
