Obituary of Allan Bertram Sisson

Peacefully, with his wife by his side, at Watford Quality Care, on April 29th, 2024, Allan Bertram Sisson, of Watford, in his 87 year. 

Cherished husband of Ada (nee Wilson) of 63 years.  Loving dad of Charlene (John) Koolen, Kirk (Brenda) Sisson and Brent (Chandra) Sisson.  Devoted Papa of Travis (Danielle) Koolen, Chase (Marlys) Koolen, Cole (Kathleen) Koolen, Colene (Red Rose) Koolen, Rebecca (Matthew) Tamminga, Anita, Erica, Andrew Sisson, Courtney (Justin Tuckey) Sisson, Koty (Courtney) Sisson, Logan (Brody LaPointe) Sisson, Isaac Sisson and Teddy Sisson.  Great Papa of Liliana, Payson, Frank, Bradley, Hadley Koolen and one more baby Koolen on the way, Sawyer, Samuel and Whitney Tamminga, Austin Tuckey, Griffin Winegarden, Sadie and Jack Sisson.  Brother of Dorothy (the late Clayton) Johnson, infant brother James (1933).  Brother-in-law of Jean (the late Elton) Thorne and Agnes (Tony Pires) Minielly.  Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Pearl Sisson and his in-laws Winnifred and Charles Wilson. Will be missed by nieces and nephews family and friends. 

Allan was born on the farm where he has lived for 82 years.  His passion and love was dairy farming.  Most importantly he always cherished his coffee time with many over the years at the barn.  Allan was a life time member of the United Church of Canada. 

Friends will be received by the family at Denning's of Watford, on Friday from 4-7 p.m.  A Celebration of Allan's life will be held at the Watford United Church, 555 Ontario St., on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Longmore officiating.  A private family interment in Mount Carmel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Watford United Church would be appreciated by the family.
