Obituary of Dianne Pray

PRAY, Nancy It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Duncan (Dianne Pray), just one month shy of her 63rd birthday. Nancy is survived by her loving family: son Tony Duncan (Mary Lynn), daughter Heather McLean (Steve) and daughter Sandy Lucan (Derek) as well as her grandchildren Shannon, Michael, Avery (Sam), Jenna, Brett, Hunter and Duncan. Also survived by her brother Kenn Pray (Virginia), sister Pat Westgate (Bill),sister in law Marilyn Pray, ex-husband, Murray Duncan, and brother in law Charlie Duncan (Judy). Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews, and 10 great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Clarence Pray (1991), sister Jean Lachance (2001) and her parents Viola (1993) and Robert (1963) Pray. Nancy's kind and gentle nature allowed her to make many lasting friendships during her nearly 30 years cleaning at Watford Nursing Home, as well as for many local private clients. Nancy enjoyed supporting her children’s interests, always ensuring that they had cut oranges for their track and field events; she was also actively involved in Brownies and the local 4H Club, when her girls were younger. She enjoyed crocheting, and exploring her family tree. Nancy’s faith was strong; she enjoyed attending services on Sunday mornings, and looked forward to her weekly bible studies. The family would like to thank Lambton Meadowview Villa for the wonderful, loving, compassionate care she received and for the kindness shown to our family as she passed on from this world. As an expression of sympathy, donations to ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated. Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF WATFORD, 232 Warwick Street, Watford, on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Online condolences may be left at www.denning.ca
