Obituary of M. Darlene Barnes

BARNES, Mrs. M. Darlene Passed away at Watford Quality Care on Thursday, April 21, 2016, in her 94th year. Born in Biggar, Saskatchewan on July 12, 1922. Daughter of Orville and Iva Edwards. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Barnes (late of 1995). Dearest mother of Ken (Holly) Barnes of Corunna, Judy Edgar of Watford, and the late Douglas Barnes (late of 1961). Survived by her grandchildren Deb (Jeff) Cross, Joe (Jessica) Edgar, Andrew (Rebecca) Barnes ,Wendy Barnes, Alicia Barnes (Brandon Bowling). Great Grandmother to Kylie and Ethan Barnes, Carter, Wyatt and Easton Cross, Liam and Claire Edgar, and Zane Bowling. Sister of Rieta, Donna, Madeline, Myrna, Larry Edwards, and the late Mildred, George, Raymond, Walter, Don and Glen. Survived by her sisters in law Doris Edwards and Helen Edwards, her brother in law Morris McCallum and many nieces and nephews. The most important thing in her life was family. Visitation will take place at Denning’s of Watford, 232 Warwick Street, Watford, on Sunday, April 24, 2016, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
